Home Learning

Thank you to all the children and parents who got involved with the holiday home learning. The postcards we received were a very welcome sight on our return to work and the diaries and photos are a great insight into the children's lives. The letters were also extremely welcome, showing the love and aspirations you have for your children.

In Year Six, we like to keep things simple and so, for the most part, home learning won't change much throughout the year and will consist of:

. Completing a reading bookmark every two weeks.
. Playing Times Table Rockstars at least three times a week.

Occasionally, there will be one off home-learning such as holiday projects of the French Breakfast Menu. Pupils who need support with any home learning should speak with their class teacher before the due date. Any incomplete home learning will need doing during lunchtimes to ensure all children are up to date with their learning.

Thank you for all your continued support and hard work with learning at home; it really makes a huge difference back in the classroom!
If your child needs some extra help with punctuation and grammar, we have a series of tasks which they can do to help them rehearse. These are for you to use if you want.
