Home Learning

Home Learning
Thank you to all the children and parents who got involved with the holiday home learning. The postcards we received were a very welcome sight on our return to work and the diaries and photos are a great insight into the children's lives. The letters were also extremely welcome, showing the love and aspirations you have for your children.
A home learning letter will be going out shortly. In Year Six, we like to keep things simple and so, for the most part, home learning won't change much throughout the year and will consist of:

. Completing a reading bookmark every two weeks
. Completing any weekly MathsWatch home learning which is set online
. Completing a weekly Grammar Hammer sheet
Pupils who need support with any home learning should speak with their class teacher before the due date. Any incomplete home learning will need doing during lunchtimes to ensure all children are up to date with their learning.
Thank you for all your continued support and hard work with learning at home; it really makes a huge difference back in the classroom!
The children have their MathsWatch passwords and should know how to get on and complete their homework. They need to see their class teacher if they have lost their details or need help for any reason.
Homework is being set weekly based on the topics we have just covered in class.
This week, some practise on rounding decimals.
