Remote Learning Spring - Day 3

Independent Reading

In Y4, we expect children to spend between 20 and 30 minutes reading their books. This can be done independently or with an adult or sibling.

To read and answer questions on a text (Part 1)

In this lesson, we will review the text type and the features of a non-fiction text. Then we will read two pages and answer questions on the text.

To develop our understanding of simple, compound and complex sentences

In this lesson, we will learn all about clauses and how they can be used to make simple, compound and complex sentences. We will also learn about the coordinating and subordinating conjunctions that we use to make the different sentence types.

What are circuit diagrams?

In this lesson, we will be learning how electrical circuits are represented as diagrams. We will learn the symbol for each component and draw our own circuit diagrams. You will need a pencil, a piece of paper and a ruler.
