Redeeming Christmas Free School Meals Vouchers
Go to the following website to redeem your Christmas vouchers
Please note the difference between this and the website for the October half term vouchers which didn’t have the “/grocery” element in the address. You must continue to use the previous address for the October half term vouchers.
    • Enter your unique 16-digit eCode and select your chosen supermarket
    • The downloaded E-Gift Card/Voucher will arrive by email within 24 hours. If you can’t find this please check your Junk/Spam folder
    • If a you have ordered a physical gift card allow 3-4 days for them to be sent out by post
    • Please note you need to activate your code within 3 months or it will expire. Once you have claimed your voucher on the Edenred website the voucher will be valid for 12 months.


Sheffield City Council will be sending FSM Voucher letters out directly to parents by first class post by the week commencing 7th December.  The letter will include the website link for Edenred and  instructions on how to download their voucher.  

Free School Meals
If you have not already applied for Free School Meals and think you may be entitled please check the Sheffield City Council website. Applications can be made through the website. 

 If you have a child attending a Sheffield school or maintained nursery, you may be entitled to free school meals if you receive any of these benefits:

  • Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods) 
  • Income Support
  • income based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • income related Employment Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit as long as you have a yearly household income of less than £16,190 (as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs) and do not get Working Tax Credit
  • Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
