Uniform

Dress Code

We want our children to feel comfortable while they are in school but also to feel part of our school community. Therefore, we have a range of comfortable options for children to choose from. We can further adapt the policy if children have significant sensory needs linked to special educational needs:
  • Plain sweatshirt, hoodie or fleece (bottle or jade green, navy or royal blue)
  • Plain polo shirt (in the above colours plus white)
  • All indoor tops should be plain without slogans or pattern, unless they are embroidered with the school logo
  • Plain dark trousers/ leggings or skirt / dress
  • Blue or green summer dresses and other summer uniform items can be worn in the summer months
  • Footwear should be sensible and can be of any colour
  • Sandals that stay securely on the feet can be worn in the summer months
  • Headscarves and hair accessories must be in plain, dark colours
  • A suitable outdoor coat must be provided and can be in any colour
  • A small raincoat should be kept in school at all times, where possible, to allow us to take the children outdoors, even when there is a change in the weather

P.E. Kit

All children must have the following items in school for every PE lesson:
  • Plain white t-shirt (preferably with the school logo embroidered on it)
  • Plain black shorts
  • Plain black tracksuit bottoms in the colder months
  • A change of footwear (trainers or plimsolls)
  • No jewellery (including earrings)
  • Hair that is at shoulder length or longer should be tied back for all children

Items can be ordered throughout the year and order forms are available on the school website or from the school office. Please send completed order forms with payment to the office.

Alternatively, orders can be made on the Logo Leisurewear website (https://logoleisurewear.com) or the Pinders website (https://pindersschoolwear.com) - links to both of these websites are also further down this webpage.

Logo Leisurewear collect orders from the school office each Wednesday and aim to deliver the items ordered the following Wednesday. However, during the summer term, orders may take longer because of increased demand.

Second Hand Uniform

In order to keep our uniform affordable and to reduce material waste, the Home and School Association (H&SA) hold regular, after school, second hand uniform sales. Look out for information via the Peak Edge app or email regarding dates. If you have any good quality uniform you no longer require and would like to donate it to school, please hand it in to the school office who will pass it to the H&SA.
We would advise parents to label children’s clothing so that if misplaced it can be returned promptly. Lost property can be found in the main reception and parents and children are welcome to look through it at the beginning or end of the school day to locate their lost items. We often have large amounts of lost property, and no capacity to store it. It is therefore disposed of at the end of each term. Please collect any lost items before this date as it will not be stored.
