Sign up here to the Summer Reading challenge - Story Garden.

 

Sheffield Libraries are participating in the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge, themed Story Garden, which focuses on nature and the outdoors. Children aged 4-11 are encouraged to read six library books during the summer, collecting stickers and earning a medal and certificate for completion. The challenge officially launches on Saturday, July 5th and runs until Sunday, September 7th.

 

 

Read something every day

 

We recommend that you read for pleasure for at least 20 minutes a day either to a grown up or on your own. Keep a record of the books you read and how many reads you do over the 6 weeks. You can print out and use the reading record below or make your own.

Change4Life and Disney have teamed up again to bring you new Shake Up games inspired by Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2, and Disney's The Lion King and Frozen.

These 10-minute bursts of fun will really get you moving and count towards the 60 active minutes you need every day!
